New Hampshire Hearing Institute
We take great pleasure in introducing
The New Hampshire Hearing Institute which will continue to
feature the complete range of diagnostic testing and therapeutic modalities
for the treatment of hearing loss. This will include the fitting and servicing
of the most advanced hearing aids, featuring digital processing,
wireless technology and other recently introduced technology.
Our Audiologists come to us with varied backgrounds and a
combined 25 years of experience. Laurie Cesati, a graduate of the University
of Virginia, has practiced at the Lahey Clinic where she helped to establish
their hearing aid department. Karen Lukeman and Alison
Nardone join us
after many years of dedicated service at Andover ENT. Both completed graduate
work at Northeastern University and are pursuing advanced Doctorate degrees.
Laurie is a 1995 graduate of the University of New Hampshire where she majored
in Communication Disorders. She continued her education at the University
of Virginia where she completed her Masters of Education degree in Audiology
in 1997. After a one year clinical fellowship she became an American Speech,
Language and Hearing Association certified audiologist and started her
professional career at Carle Clinic Association in Urbana, IL. She returned
to the east coast in the summer of 2000 and joined the audiology staff
at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA where she worked before joining
ENT Specialists of Southern New Hampshire in September of 2007.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and
friends. As animal lovers she and her husband enjoy volunteering and attending
fund raising events for a local animal shelter.
